The Benefits of Soy Wax

Here at Mountain View Melts we're big soy wax fans for a variety of reasons. Number one being that soy wax does not produce any emissions when burned and does not contain any harmful chemicals or pollutants. Paraffin wax, as used by lots of big brand retailers, does produce emissions when burned and contains some potentially harmful chemicals and/or pollutants.

The soy wax that we use here in Mountain View Melts is sustainably sourced as well as being biodegradable and vegan friendly. By choosing soy, you're supporting sustainable, renewable agriculture instead of relying on dwindling petroleum resourcesSoy wax also burn cleaner and produces minimal soot compared to their paraffin counterparts which many bigger commercialised candle makers use.

The only cons of soy wax that we find is after burning your candle you might find that it has a slightly uneven surface. However, this is purely aesthetic and proves that our candles are 100% pure soy wax! Breathe in pure, toxin-free air as you bask in the warm glow of your 100% pure natural soy candle!
